This will only occur once, since Keepass2Android will remember where your database is, and will bring it up automatically after the first time, like in Windows.
Thank you for your help - I hope i was able to provide some info as well. The problem is that your phone defaults you to a limited file manager, but the option to change is presented. That, or it's properly authenticated to edit my OneDrive now that i've logged in through the app rather than just through OneDrive itself.

I suspect the reason why was that when I first set this up, I grabbed both KP2A and OneDrive and logged into both and must have opened the KPDB from OneDrive, selecting the relevant app to open with - rather than using the app to open the file. Then, go File Import and import the corrupted database file.
